On November 28-29, the third International Conference on Mental Health “Children. Adolescents. Adults. Challenges of Immigration” took place in Brussels, organized by the
Social Health Orientation Center Over the course of two days, leading international and Ukrainian experts in psychology and therapy discussed critically important topics such as:
- The impact of Russian military aggression on the mental health of Ukrainians;
- The challenges psychologists face when working with displaced persons;
- The role of parents’ mental health in shaping children’s psychological well-being in the context of immigration;
- The effectiveness of intercultural approaches to trauma treatment;
- Forced displacement trauma: challenges and opportunities for parents and children;
- Addiction in adolescents and adults as a destructive way to cope with stress: causes and treatment approaches.
We sincerely thank the following international experts who work tirelessly to improve the mental health of Ukrainians:
