Ist International Conference: 26 April 2024, Brussels
IInd International Conference: 26-27 June 2024, Brussels
IIIrd International Conference on Mental Health: 28-29 November 2024
We are an international initiative that unites leading specialists, volunteers, and representatives of civil society organizations from Ukraine, Belgium, and other European countries. Together, we work to support the mental health of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and everyone affected by war. Our mission is to create a sustainable international support network based on advanced scientific approaches, practical experience, and partnerships among diverse organizations and experts.
We organize International Conferences that have become key events for professionals working with those affected by war. These conferences bring together experts from Belgium, Ukraine, other European countries, and international organizations to exchange knowledge and develop new approaches to mental health support.
Our conferences are free and open to the public because we aim to make knowledge, resources, and mental health support accessible to all, regardless of financial or social status.
The free format allows individuals from various backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, students, and young professionals, to access vital information, shared experiences, and practical tools. Our goal is to widely share scientific and practical knowledge about mental health, particularly in the context of migration, where these issues are critically important.
The conference promotes integration across different social groups, enabling professionals, activists, educators, and those directly facing adaptation challenges to collaborate and develop new solutions together. Thanks to the backing of our partners, including UNHCR and the Brussels-Capital Region, we ensure a high-quality event without financial burden on participants.
With partners such as UNHCR, Ukrainian Voices RC, SHOC, Empowerment Hub, and support from the Brussels-Capital Region, we work on creating comprehensive mental health support systems tailored to the realities of war and crises. Our international collaboration focuses on helping people in difficult circumstances feel supported and empowered to overcome challenges while developing effective methods for mental health care in response to modern challenges.
Free access and openness are fundamental principles of our initiative, fostering an inclusive environment for discussing critical topics and finding solutions that have a tangible impact on society.
